Filament guide roller
Description
This is an add on to the item (2020 / Ender 3 Filament Guide). This helps the filament roll smoothly down to the entry point in the feeder. It also enables the rollers to rotate in one axis to allow for the side to side feed from the filament roll as it empties. The bearings are 608 skateboard type bearings with an 8mm centre hole. The flat plate STL file is for gluing to the end of the shaft after it has been slotted through the central section and stops the whole unit from coming off the shaft. I have also added a restraint clip that can be clipped onto the frame if you need it to stop the filament from jumping off. It probably doesn't need this, but I made it for mine to be on the safe side. The 'top hat' section is a tight fit into the end of the filament guide section but can also be glued in if necessary to stop it rotating. Set it in the best direction for the feed and see how it goes. The parts need to be printed separately and glued together with superglue. This is a pretty easy process and has held up fine on my Ender 3 Pro. NOTE: The parts all need to be resized to 10% (it is 10 times too big in the STL format) You will notice this when you import into your native slicer....
