Small Disco Ball Drive 3D Scanner Photo Turntable Slow Rotation

Small Disco Ball Drive 3D Scanner Photo Turntable Slow Rotation

Description

This is a small, generic rotating actuator. Programmed with arduino (e.g. https://www.makerguides.com/28byj-48-stepper-motor-arduino-tutorial/) it allows to turn one axis with small Z-offset. I used Arduino Nano. If possible, use the ones without the sockets soldered. As it's programmable in speed, it can be also used as a 3D Scaning turn table. just mount a Cake-Plate on top of it (no need to print, just glue or screw it!) Add some lube (silicone or the one you use for your printer). Finally just put some nails after push-fitting everything in place to lock the Holder and Cap assembly. Not locking it allows the Disco ball to fall onto your head! I used 3 small yarns knotted together to make the Disco Ball mount. I included 3 Ritzel (small gear) with different fittings. just try out, what your printer makes out of it, what fits best. Please post makes :)
