Sapphire Pro - NF-Mellow / Mosquito - BLTouch Mount

Sapphire Pro - NF-Mellow / Mosquito - BLTouch Mount

Description

This a quick effort to mount a Mosquito clone on the Sapphire Pro. The fan duct uses two 5015 blowers. The blowers press snugly onto the duct and are secured with a dab of adhesive. The hot end mount is for the e3d style groove mount adapter included with the mosquito clones. I separated the clamp band from the body in my slicer (slic3r) out of convenience. Note that the mount bolts to the backside of the carriage. The bl-touch mount is optional and simply sits between the heads of the mounting bolts on the hot end mount. The only additional hardware required is two long (I used 16mm) M4 bolts to connect the mount to the steel carriage on the Sapphire Pro. TODO: The position of the part cooling fan interferes with the motion steppers at extreme travels. I don't generally print things which fill the bed, so for the moment I've restricted travel on my machine. The hot end mount could stand to be stiffened, especially in the Y-axis. The hole sizes on the mount could use tweaking; I undersized them all slightly and drilled them out to size. (I'm still using my first print of these components, no tweaking.) ## Changelog ### 1.0 - Init ### 1.1 - Beefed up hotend mount - Tightened groove mount tolerances
