B3603 + 18650 DC Buck PSU case
Description
I was not too fond of how the B3603 is super exposed, and requires you to have another power source like a DC adapter to power it. As well as the fastening of wires everytime you will want to use it. So I took 4 18650 battery holders, switch and banana connectors to create a bit more usable PSU from this. You should be able to get up to 12v from this setup, which covers most of my use cases. I mostly use it for 3.3v or 5v projects anyways. **Parts list:** - B3603 DC Step Down Power Module (1) https://www.diyelectronics.co.za/store/switch-mode-modules/339-variable-switchmode-dc-dc-buck-power-supply.html?search_query=buck+psu&results=6 - This style of 18650 battery holder (2) https://www.diyelectronics.co.za/store/battery-holders/1833-18650-battery-holder-two-slot.html?search_query=18650&results=17 - 18650 Battery of your choice (4) https://www.diyelectronics.co.za/store/li-ion-li-po/2084-maxwell-spark-18650-37v-2600mah-rechargeable-li-ion-cell.html?search_query=18650&results=17 - Switch (1) https://www.communica.co.za/products/mr2120-r5bb - Banana lead connectors https://www.communica.co.za/products/xy-rc11e-red https://www.communica.co.za/products/xy-rc11e-blk - Banana leads https://www.communica.co.za/products/cmu-5x1m-silicone-croc-to-banana - Screws to fasten board to separation plate (M3 X 6mm) - Screw to fasten control mounting plate to shell (M3 self tapping 6mm ~ 10mm)
