Pop-in T-slot Cover - Ender 3 Pro
Description
This design is very versatile and can easily be trimmed on the inserted portion to be installed over screws for a nice clean look. No disassembly needed! Just trim with a razor blade, precision knife, or mini flush cutters as needed and press along length to install ________________________________________________________________________ **NEW DESIGN COMPLETE!** Took a full day to get the slicer settings to spit out the layers I wanted in the directions I wanted without affecting the structural integrity of the new design, but here it is! **MK2 DESIGN NOTES 01/11/2020:** **Caution:** If your bed isn't ~perfectly~ level, the infill-only design will show every inconsistency. Also, if using darker materials, wait for the part and bed to cool completely before removing. Slight bending of the part is easy to do accidentally and will show up as lighter bands and lines of discoloration on your part. **Cool things:** I have uploaded two new files. One is a ready-to-print g-code file using my painstakingly optimized print settings for good patterning and structural integrity (however, remember that all printers are slightly different, so results might vary). The second, is the STL file so that you can play with the settings yourself! Even the slightest adjustment to settings related to layer height, line width, etc. will result in a drastically different looking pattern. You can also change the infill pattern to create all kinds of different looks for your printer!
