Duet Maestro enclosure(with Stock Ender 5 or Ender 3 LCD 12864F-3)

Description

Enclosure for my Duet Maestro and the stock LCD that came with my Ender 5 using a single 120mm Noctua fan for cooling. The design is somewhat modular so that it should be able to stand alone or mount to different printers easily. The fan is positioned under the board so as to cool the stepper drivers properly according to Duet3D the airflow then goes up over the top of the board and exits at the top of the case. (there is airflow out all the openings of the case) Since my Ender 5 is a 24v system, I'm using a buck converter inside the enclosure to run the 120mm fan. I used M3 bolts and nuts to secure the fan and LCD, and Nylon M3 bolts with steel nuts to secure the Duet Maestro board. The lid of the encore is also secured using M3 bolts/nuts. The mounting plate uses M5 bolts/nuts from the case to the mounting plate. and M5 bolts and t-nuts to mount on the 2020 extrusions. I pressed in the M3 nuts with a soldering iron so they fit tight and don’t fall out. I made the 120mm fan stand to make it more stable and aid in mounting. It makes mounting it much easier since its the right height on my Ender 5. But once the mounting plate with underbody support piece are all bolted up, it is extremely stable even without the fan stand, though I leave mine in place anyways. All ports for the Duet are accessible. And there is a slot for viewing the Status LEDs. I'm stilling using the stock enclosure for the Ender 5 for the PSU and just ran longer wires to bring in power. All other wiring are stock(plus an extra 10pin cable for the LCD and some DuPont jumpers since I didn't have the tools to crimp new ends for the Duet) Edit- 02/09/2020 Added a version without a screen and that has the ports turned to the front from ease of access.
