XTRKTR - Solder Fume Extractor
Description
Behold the almighty XTRKTR. It mounts to the end of these nice soldering helps with a M4 screw pushed through the orange end-piece (you'll have to remove this to insert the screw..). Between the honeycomb end and the fan is a space where you can put a piece of active charcoal filter mat. - 40x40x56.3mm 12V server cooling fan (Nidec UltraFlo R40W12BS5AC-65) or similar - Filter Mat cut off - 2.5x5.5mm DC barrel plug socket (or just glue a cable into the hole) (mine is from RND connect) - Mini power rocker switch 13.8x9.1mm panel hole - some M4 screws or similar While it's pretty noisy it really sucks the soldering fumes away from the face in a way that most commercial ones never did.
