water pump old dryer motor 14000 liter/hour
Description
The pump has a bearing and seal made out of teflon tape, the drive shaft is a 8mm threaded rod.If it starts vibrating or if you can move the rod sideways in the pump you have to tighten the nut so the teflon tape will expand. I put a steel tube around the rod because it started vibrating the first time i tested it.it has a 60 watt 2750 rpm motor witch i took out of a old wash dryer. maybe it is better to use a bigger motor with the same rpm because mine got about 60 degrees celcius after running for a while, i think its a bit on the small side. you can use other motors to then the one i used, if the rpm is about the same, you only have to make your own motor support, also have a look at the other things i made https://youtu.be/NZugFIHKTdM
