RGB Wheelie Bin Reminder Lamp
Description
This is a remix of the Wheelie Bin model by Jigsawnz that allows for a Wemos mini D1 with a RGB LED to snap into the lower section creating a cool way to remind you when and which bin to take out for collection. You will need: - This model - Wemos Mini D1 or clone - 1x RGB LED for Single Colour or 2x for dual Instructions: - Add the RGB led(s) to the Wemos either using the header pins or soldier directly to the Wemos, if using dual colour connect some jump wire to extend the second LED. - Press the Wemos into the lower section as show in pictures - There is an optional splitter to add a second RGB LED at the mid point to make it a dual colour lamp. Using the Arduino IDE open the WemosBin.ino sketch and update the WiFi details, the timezone offset, the daylight savings times and the bin schedule before uploading. You will need to have added the Wemos board type and selected the Wemos board type and serial port. You will also need to have added the simpleDSTadjust library, a link is inside the sketch.
