Commodore 64 to MX stem adapter
Description
ATTENTION! Because of a tight fit, some damage to the stem may occur. Use at your discretion. I recently received a C64 keyboard module for keycap harvesting, but most adapters were pretty sucky (tried 2 different ones and neither worked at all) or had no 1.5u and 2u support. So I made my own. Now there are both 1.5u 2 stem and 2u 3 stem (non-stab) designs. Unfortunately I'm not going to use stabs on 2u. Fortunately I included the necessary files so anyone can customize them to fit. !IF you do have 2 switches for 2u, you can use the the other as a dummy switch. The outer 2 stems are spaced like two switches side by side.! There are 2 different switch types; normal and speed. Speed switch models are a tad shallower because of the shallower travel and because of that won't go all the way down on normal switches. The normal models are .5mm higher to accommodate full travel. These won't bind like one other design I found because the adapter is quite slim. The fits are really loose on the files, but with a .4 nozzle the printed fit should be just right. After print, make finishing touches to the cruciform and bottom rim with a hobby knife. NOTICE: If you are using a resin printer or a smaller nozzle, modify the files. There are both STEP and .stl files.
