Eleksmaker A3 pro - cable guidance brackets and belt tension
Description
These are my improvements for the Elekslaser A3 pro. Cable brackets: Top cable guidance bracket for the moving unit with the laser Side cable guidance bracket for the side brackets of the moving central rail Front cable guidancebracket to mount between control unit and frame These cable guidance bracket allow for a smooth running of the machine and to avoid the cables interfering with the working area. Belt tensioners: For the four belt tensioners by joshuruiz, I made a top clamp to revert the belt back again to avoid it pointing back to the moving parts and prevent their movement to the extreme position. For the two belt tensioners of the top belt, I made an external belt tensioner bracket (this bracket also uses the top clamp of the belt tensioner of joshuruiz) Both belt tensioners serve to increase the active working area of the laser by avoiding that the belt ponts back towards the moving parts. The external belt tensioner also allows the running part to move a centimeter further towards both sides as the moving part does not interfere with the belt tensioner anymore. This external belt tensioner also allows for a more accurate adjustment of the belt tension then the original belt tensioner. For the side cable guidance and for the external belt tensioner you need to drill 2 holes size 3 mm though the perspex of the Eleksmaker to allow mounting with M3 bolts & nuts. For the feedthrough of the belt, you need to drill 2 holes of 3 mm next to each other. I uploaded the STL files as well as the native files in FreeCAD to allow further improvements by others.
