Car USB Cables Holder
Description
My nephew replaced his original (dumb) Suzuki Swift car audio system by an Android one (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000270216492.html). The new systems has two USB connectors where the original one had only a single one. So, I designed this holder for two female USB connector cables. The Android system comes with two USB cables with female connectors. For assembly, use either two small countersunk screws or insert small sections of 1.75mm filament in the 3 provided channels and melt their ends. The original USB connector hole was too small for this dual connector housing, so it had to be enlarged with a stepped drill bit. In this particular case, the enlargement had to be done in the upper right direction only as some space is needed for the assembly nut. As usual, the OpenSCAD source file is heavily commented so it should be easy to adapt it to a different set of cables. As a warning to anyone wishing to use this Android system in their Suzuki Swift, we had to cutout a lot of plastic in the bottom part of the car dash housing to be able to install it... Aside from that, the audio system works like a charm.
