ADKS - Ender 3 Rear Case v1

Description

** Update - 15 Mar 2020** ** New version is available here** **A few more words** If possible, please consider supporting me with a tip. I really love designing and 3D printing, this last which I practice as a hobby, and I am incredibly happy to see how some of my projects are particularly popular on these online platforms. My designs will never be for sale, I believe in sharing and will never ask for a mandatory fee to download them. Due to Covid-19 pandemic, I'm having a hard time with my job, therefore I'm not able to spend as much time as I would like with you guys, in sharing and commenting new designs. I hope to soon have the serenity to get back to being active on this and other platforms to update projects with new and interesting ideas. Until then, Thank You Paypal.me link: https://paypal.me/adarkstudio Thank you page: https://pastebin.com/raw/gTt8iE5a Regards Nio - - - - - - - - Freely inspired by Teaching Tech’s “Universal Rear Electronics Case”: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3688967 This simple design is for those people who don’t need to install also bulk converters, Raspberry Pi, and other electronics in addition to the motherboard (stock or with a similar form factor, like my SKR mini E3 v1.2). The attached STL files are an improved version of the design shown in the pictures. The separate hole for the heated bed cable was deleted to improve the internal airflow with different cable management. Since also the previously printed version works great, I don’t need to re-print it now, so, sorry for the slight differences. For Standard Ender 3 Owners: The design is for the Ender 3 Pro with a 4040 Aluminum Y-axis profile and a different Y motor position, but it should be also compatible with a standard Ender 3. Due to the connector position, rotating the Z motor 90 degrees counterclockwise may be helpful (see picture attached). You will find two different options for the lid: a) 4010 fan version (stock fan or replacement part whit similar dimensions) b) 4020 fan version (in case of 24v 4020 direct replacement fan. In this case, supports are necessary) Enjoy Let's create stuff! Nio
