Haehnel HB-40 tripod ball head quick release plate
Description
For some reason I got a Hähnel Tirad 40 tripod with ballhead HB-40 but no quick release place with it to my HP 3D scanner :( And the base is nothing like a arca swiss compatible, it comes with a larger width so it doesn't clamp the plate. Didn't know what relase plate would fit, could try different ones from thingiverse and buy one that fits of these printed one in original quality and material. But I finally designed one that does fit, even with the lock mechanism inside. The screw I got came from a Manfrotto MA-410, took the 1/4" because it's mostly used and the one I will need. But there are a few differences between the manfrotto's screw and the ones that are available at amazon. Manfrottos' shaft full length is 11 (4mm thread, 7mm shaft) Mengs screw on amazon has (4+4) 8mm and NEEWER type is 10mm long , both with metal ring to tighten and release it So I uploaded these 3 types (1, 2 and 3 in same order as the cut analysis shows), but there are much more screw variants on amazon
