Cr10s Pro linear rail bondtech e3d
Description
depreciated now use https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4751861 Merged the parts that attach to the rail mount, getting a lot better quality prints with them merged/ edited so grab the V2 parts, also made a new mount for the abl and a clip for the cable. Been wanting a minimalistic bondtech/ e3d set up that uses linear rails Should work on any machine that uses 20mm extrusion, buildplate dimensions shouldn't matter, x limit switch may differ for each printer. Print the motor/ bondtech bracket in petg if you can, using a pancake could deform this part. But Pancake maybe pointless as there is clearance for the original stepper to fit. Total costs £41.85 Parts list E3d https://a.aliexpress.com/_skXakm Bondtech https://a.aliexpress.com/_sY5Cbc Linear Rail mgn12h 400mm https://a.aliexpress.com/_sSLtQA Blower fan https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07L7KKFHL/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_v1FkEbAQKWZ6H M3 bolts https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07VDN3RB7/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_92FkEb0MREK2M 1) Print parts 2) Profit!!! 3) Remove X motor mount, remove limit switch screws, drill through existing threaded holes using a 1mm drill (we want to keep the threads and use the old screws here) mount on the front face as shown in the pictures, existing holes are already added to the new X slide so additional parts can be adapted to engage X limit switch if needed. 4) install linear rail. 5) Re-assemble X motor housing. 6) Slide X rail as close to the motor, ensure limit switch is "clicking". Also leaving the slide in this position, it will help hold the OG stepper motor in place whilst you install. 7) Screw your existing abl mount to the bracket, Put the 4 m3x15mm screws through the cooling mount and motor mount, fix these 2 parts like a sandwich onto the linear rail block. 8) Assemble e3d and bondtech loosely, mount onto motor and bracket. 9) Fit hot end cooling mount and 40mm fan. 10) Mount the modified Petsfang to the bracket, ensure it's just about the tip of the nozzle and tight. 11) Mount twin Blowers to petsfang. 12) Fit stepper motor fan bracket (may not be necessary) used 2 40mm fans for hot end cooling fan and stepper cooler, 12v wired in series. 13) More profit. Credits to dpestel for the petsfang fan mount, CG-tech for the stepper blower and poken1151 for the all in one e3d blower
