Sandmann's simple Jeep

Update: Sandmann visiting the Farm cooperative. The farmers showing off her pull tractors (my unpublished work). Do not get fooled, it is not true the easterns made things were all red and black. It is just the PLA filament that I have in the house and works best on my crappy Chineese made printer. At the time the cars, tractors were painted, blue, white, light green, grey. Red as a paint was mostly used by fire departent cars. Rare exception from the rule: In the 50th/60th decade some really nice looking EMW / Wartburg cars were painted black-bordeaux red. New parts: -dashboard with short rod for the steering wheel axle -smaller steering wheeel since the Sandmann is a little guy -front seats row, direct mounting to the floor, adjust the holes when finding the fit with the new dashboard and wheel Have removed the tiny holes surrounding the speedometer hole. The walls did not come out, vanished. If your f*** chineese made slicer does not well take the version with the single speedometer hole. -steering wheel with rod mounted on a tiny cockpit plate thing (with holes for speedometer and lights or tumblers) -tailgate V2 with holders for wheel and gasoline can -separate holders for the wheel and the gasoline can Have printed and assembled the windshield frame. Make the joint using 2mm toothpicks. I works great. Since the lovely Sandmann is allways helping poeple he could need an other snow plower or a small wreck car , fire patrol car. The thing: -- Sandmann operates allready a number of "Land Rover Series I" cars in his huge collection of mobiles of all kind (cars, boots, airplanes,....) but no Jeep. This is about to change the misery. See my other things to get familar with the lovely allways friendly Sandmann . He brings the childrens the kiss good night story since 60 years, on TV each day. . Inspiration taken from a simple modell from - Zenziwerken, sliced Jeep for the CNC, lasercutter, scrollsaw. - Wooden Toy Jeep made by LittleWoodandToyShop on Etsy. . I have made the paylod section ready for converting the car into a fire pump car, small crane, pick-up, whats not. emergency rescuer, snow plower, much more in the game. I like it, making a basic design and modify it many times for any purpose I want. All parts screwed together, no glue please. Some small fixes required -FIXED see the new parts V3-3 1. On the sidewall change the rear axle cutout to rectangular if the axle does not fit the cutout. 2. The hole for the mount screw of the grill needs to be shifted a little bit upward. If you have printed out the frame, make it a fit by sanding down the engine compartment a bit. Sorry for inconvenience. Will adjust the frame part. FIXED Needed parts -- Of course the Sandmann figurine. But other crowds have occupied the Sandmanns spaceships and moon explorer allready. Some EMTEC silicone/rubber made figurines hiding a USB stick could be used by making an special adapter that holds the body with no stock base piece tightly. See my other Sandmann things. Please do not use no machine screws this time. Small screws for plastic of vatious length required, take those of 2.5mm diameter. Prefered lens head screws. For the joints choose the the heads no more than 5mm head diameter. A little wider screw heads (ca 7-9mm) for fastening the axles with the frame and the wheel caps. See the pictures. Please allways predrill the screw holes at least when printing from brittle PLA or similar A few LED 5mm, 3mm could make the front and tail light, direction indicators. Some shiny metal washers or knobs from the sewing accessories so for making the caps on the wheels. . Parts: -- The dimensions are set to fit the Sandmann figure I have used on the spaceship projects and the Lunochod moon rover. For easier designing I have given the most parts size values with no fractions of a millimeter. Cars new parts V3-3 (plus a few old parts seats, wheels). -wind shield No.39 (single window, with matching engine cover No.38) -the base frame no bumper No.33 -the base frame with bumper No.34 -the sidewalls No.32 -the front bumper -the engine grill (with holes diameter 5mm, 3mm for LED or inserts) -the engine compartment with cover No38 -backside door -the wheels -the seats parts various kind -the payload platform, this time prepared for two rows of seats -unified axles replaced by indidvually sized. -gasoline can -holder for the gasoline can -holder for the spare wheel -tailgate V2 with holder for gasoline can and spare wheel -accessories collection to be mounted onto the plain back door TODO -steering wheel -warning light, endlessly circulating blue/red light on top of the engine cover -minor adjustments, probably the head light could be made from 10mm LED -more exchangeable platforms / application -cockpit plate with indicators, speedometer?
