Wanhao i3 bearing spool holder

Just a simple instruction for the Wanhao i3 bearing spool holder v1.0 You will need: *Scooter Bearing: external diameter 47mm internal diameter 17mm Thickness 14mm new or used, you could find it at each mechanics for free when they're used and ready to be thrown in the trash *Wanhao i3 Stock nut and spool support ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -Print both STL files bearing_holder and spool_holder, without support, 25% infill, 50mm/sec. I strongly suggest to print the bearing_holder on TPU, TPE or similar rubber materials -Insert the bearing in the holder, and push both inside the spool hole, almost at the center of the spool. -Tight the spool_holder with the stock nut and spool support -Enjoy, the spool will rotate without friction ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This thing is still work in progress to fit different spool size but it is already quite functional with around 53mm spool hole.
