USB Powered, Carbon Activated Soldering Fan with Gopro Mount

USB Powered, Carbon Activated Soldering Fan with Gopro Mount

Description

This is my USB powered soldering fan with LED light. It can be mounted using most Gopro compatible mounting material such as my own designs: Mounting System: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4110316 Stand/Tripod: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4126419 BOM: 120 mm Fan - I use one of those https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B071VG5MVY/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1638&creative=6742&creativeASIN=B071VG5MVY&linkCode=as2&tag=eisenfliege-21&linkId=33e2d9eb42156eb983a71fb6aff8e1c1 (came with mounting screws) 5 M5x10 countersunk Screws 2 M3x8 Screws Micro USB port - This one fits to my design: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B071VG5MVY/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1638&creative=6742&creativeASIN=B071VG5MVY&linkCode=as2&tag=eisenfliege-21&linkId=33e2d9eb42156eb983a71fb6aff8e1c1 Step-Up Converter: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B071VG5MVY/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1638&creative=6742&creativeASIN=B071VG5MVY&linkCode=as2&tag=eisenfliege-21&linkId=33e2d9eb42156eb983a71fb6aff8e1c1 LED - Light: I Use this: http://www.bastler-beutel.de/Download/Acrobat/LED/COB-W-FLM10-7W.PDF but any other flat LED also works 2A USB power Adapter with Micro USB cable: I use this https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B071VG5MVY/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1638&creative=6742&creativeASIN=B071VG5MVY&linkCode=as2&tag=eisenfliege-21&linkId=33e2d9eb42156eb983a71fb6aff8e1c1 but any other Mobile Power Adapter capable of about 2A or more should be also fine. Some double-sided tape for mounting the LED light As filter material I use active carbon mat for hoods, trimmed to size such as: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B071VG5MVY/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1638&creative=6742&creativeASIN=B071VG5MVY&linkCode=as2&tag=eisenfliege-21&linkId=33e2d9eb42156eb983a71fb6aff8e1c1 For the Umbrella part you need to set the "Build Plate Adhesion" Type in Cura of None to get some additional printing space. Otherwise it may not be sliced. It is important to screw the Poti of the Step-Up Module to 12 V checking with a Voltmeter. Cabling is shown on one of the photos. It takes a lot of revolutions until the voltage is changing. My setup with my Fan and LED-Light needs about 2A of current so you should have a USB power adapter which is capable of this.
