Master Engraver (ME10)
Description
This is my third laser cutter/engraver, i called it ME10" for "Master Engraver" and "10" for the laser power (10W). Technical informations: Work Surface: 223x276mm Rapid Move Speed: 200mm/s Led built-in: Yes Air assist: Yes PWM module: Yes Limit switch: Yes Laser: 10W (Blue Light 450nm) Step motor: Nema 17 (Brand "StepperOnline" 42x42x34mm) Machine size: Wide= 425mm, Deep= 360mm, Heigh= 151mm Glasses Protection: Compatible with Blue-Purple Laser Light, between 200-540nm **Update** **30/01/20**: I added a file "Laser_Fan_Seal.stl", this part will serve you to no longer lose air flow on the laser and will enhance the aesthetic. **24/06/20**: I added two new tutorial sections down below "GRBL 1.1h Installation (ME10 Preset)" and "Wiring Diagram". **23/06/21**: Need a pen plotter? I made an arm that can replace easily the laser arm. Draw Machine DM1 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4893694 **28/06/21**: I added two files "Laser Diode 10W Support Plate.stl" and "GT2 Belt Holder.stl". The laser support has been enhanced, the hexcentric wheel has been brought closer to the v-slot aluminum, also new way to secure the belt on the plate. **03/07/21**: I added two more files "GT2_Attach.stl" this version is smaller, "Limit_Switch_Holder_X.stl" easier to print. **06/07/21**: I added two more files "X_Axis_Support_Wheels_Part_1.stl" and "X_Axis_Support_Wheels_Part_2.stl", it allows to keep the X axis straight if there is too much weight when the laser goes all the way at right. **13/11/21**: I made a temperature sensor to avoid reaching the maximum work temperature of the laser diode, the program isn't perfect but works like a charm.
