zx82net Bookshelf Speaker (Hexibase remix) v2

Description

**This is a remix of Hexibase's bookshelf speaker with Tang Band W3-2141 drivers.** The internal volume, port area, and port length are all matched to the original design, but I took the port and wrapped it into the shape of a stand. I also added reinforcement to the inside walls and gave it a touch of Bauhaus style. (The reinforcement is accounted for in the internal volume). This is an awesome full range speaker, extremely clean bass, very low distortion and easy to driver with any amp. For a more advanced 2-way, check out my LCM: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5077425 ![](https://cdn.thingiverse.com/assets/fa/85/c8/36/51/Thingiverse_banner_LCM.jpg) **Printing** This prints in three parts in the orientation shown, (port goes on its side). The port and front face should be glued into the enclosure. I suggest using blue-tak to hold the driver guards in. If you glue them in place, you won't be able to remove the drivers. No supports are required, other than the ones built into the enclosure model. I’ve put 5mm holes in for binding posts, and features for M3 bolts and nuts to hold the drivers in. Follow hexibase’s advice and use some good gasket material. The fusion 360 files is included, so you can mod to your heart's content. The design is heavily parametrized in fusion 360, you should be able to change wall thickness and so on without breaking it, but always check the result after changing parameters. Bill of materials (per speaker): ~1kg of filament for your choice 4x M3 nuts 4x M3 screws 1x Tang Band W3-2141 2x Amerock BP865CS26 Cabinet Pull, 3-5/16-Inch, Polished Chrome https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001AH5DMC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The holes are spaced for the measured size of the handles, not the spec (76.5 vs 76mm), this is a parameter in the Fusion 360 file.
