Hanging Mainboard Case for Ender 3
Description
I needed a case that fits the stock Ender 3 mainboard to hang under my enclosure. So I used the fantastic design of [Ender 3 External Electronics Case](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3631413) as a starting point. I also wanted it to be easily removed from the enclosure by sliding it in and out of the drawer-like bracket so that I can remove the printer from the enclosure without having to unscrew the case or remove the wires. I designed this to slide in to the bracket in an orientation for the USB port and SD card slot to be facing out. However, when I installed it I realized that I could not do this, because the bed heater cable is too short. So, as you can see in the pictures, I installed it in the rear of the enclosure sideways. This works fine, as the box can still slide in from under the enclosure, and I use an SD card extender to reach the edge of the enclosure. The screws that I used were M3x8. Be careful screwing through the tabs on the lid in to the box. If the screw is not lined up with the hole in the box correctly it will push the tab out until it breaks. There are two versions of the box. One has more vents than the other. The lid and bracket will work with both.
