Ai3M Stock Spool Adapter
Description
I wanted to make a spool adapter for the one that comes with the printer, to use until I get around to making an enclosure with filament storage, etc. I also wanted to make it easily printable without supports. I opened the source file "cilindro" in MatterControl (MC is good for quick and simple edits) and added some cone shapes to change the flat ridges into slopes. Then I changed the inner diameter to 17mm to fit comfortably over the metal cylinder from the stock holder. I tried a shorter version, but it was too short for my widest spool. So I ended up making this one 75mm long. Fits nicely and makes the spool turn more smoothly during printing.
