Styrofoam cutter mount for Inventables X-Carve
Description
Simple bracket for mounting a cheap styrofoam cutter on the Inventables X-Carve. It can be mounted with 3 bolts, or just the bottom 2 bolts (if you need the 30mm extra range this provides). It is designed for an M4 bolt to fasten the cutter in place. The bolt must be removed entirely when placing or removing the cutter from the bracket. ** Note: I have 2 inch risers on my Y-axis - without risers you probably can't cut this thick foam, but it'll still work with thinner sheets ** Recommended print orientation as shown in attached screenshot (standing up, bottom down). That means: Not the way it's positioned natively in the stl. I attached the Fusion 360 source file, in case anyone wants to modify it. I apologize in in advance for the mess - it's not pretty work, but it's the result that matters lol!
