Feiyue FY03 front differential brace
Description
The front differential case is a weak point of the FY03/Eachine EAT 04/WlToys 12428 car, as it has to take the entire impact force on frontal impact. Even WlToys realized that, as they added a metal brace to their follow-up cars 12428-b and 12429. The FY03/EAT 04 lacks this part, so I broke my differential casing in a crash. Now I designed braces for both the lower and the upper side of the front differential. They mount in the original holes, just be sure to get longer screws as this part takes 2mm of thread length. You need 9 2.6*10mm PT screws for both lower and upper parts. This design can be printed, though I recommend to file/CNC it out of aluminium for extra strength (and looks ;) ) so I also added the DXF files. EDIT 2020/02/11: Updated the lower brace with more accurate measurements now that I have a new differential to measure from.
