
Conduit Pipe Camera Tripod (Extendable)
Description
The Tripod is built using only PVC conduit piping and some 5mm bolts and nuts. Print the following parts as indicated: - 1 x Camera Mount Hex - 3 x Foot V3 - 3 x 25mm End Cap V3 - 3 x 20mm Stopper Cap V3 - 3 x Leg Extension Hex V3 - 4 x Tightner V3 - 1 x Tripod Head V2 Parts to purchase: - 3 x 25 mm conduit piping (Length should be between 600 - 1200mm) estimated $1 - $3 - 3 x 20 mm conduit piping (Length should be 10mm longer then your 25mm pipes) estimated $1 - $3 - 3 x 20mm round rubber feet covers estimated $1 - 3 Bolts and Nuts: - 4 x 5mm hex nuts estimated $0.2 - 3 x 5mm hex bolts (length 20mm) estimated $0.3 - 3 x 5mm hex bolts (length 40mm) estimated $0.3 - 1 x 5mm hex bolt (length 60mm) estimated $0.2 Step 1: - Drill one 5mm hole center straight through,10mm from the top side of each 25mm conduit pipes. Step 2: - Insert all 3 25mm pipes through the Tripod Head V3 and attach them using the 40mm bolts. Step 3 : - Glue in place on the top of each of the 25mm conduit pipes a 25mm End Cap Step 4: - Insert a 20mm bolt thread first into each of the Tighteners, and the 60mm into the remaining one. Step 5: - Install the Camera Mount Hex on top of the Tripod Head V2 using a 5mm nut and the 60mm Tightener. Step 6: - Glue in place each of the 20mm Stopper Caps on to one side of each of the 20mm conduit pipes. Step 7: - Place a Leg Extension Hex through each 20mm conduit pipe with the 25mm opening facing the 20mm Stopper Caps. Step 8: - Insert the 20mm conduit pipes into the 25mm conduit pipes and glue the Leg Extension Hex to the 25mm conduit pipe with the screw holes facing outwards. Step 9: - Insert a hex nut into each of the Leg Extension Hexes and tighten them lightly using the 20mm Tighteners. Step:10 - Glue a Foot V3 to the bottom of each of the 20mm conduit pipes, and place a Rubber end cap over each of the round bottoms. DONE!!
