Kiev 66 Prism to Pentacon Six Adapter
Description
Adapter for attaching the Kiev 66 / 6C prism finder to the Pentacon Six. Comes with two optional front plates. You'll need to add two screws to the top of the adapter to engage the lock of the prism. I am using screws with 10 * 2.5 mm shafts and 4.5 mm rounded heads, other sizes will work just fine as long as you keep in mind that: - the physical limit of the prism lock holes is 5mm - about 3mm of the shaft need to stay exposed - shafts longer than 13 mm will not fit Installation is a two step process: 1. Slide the adapter in place on the P6 (just as you'd do with the waist level finder) 2. drop the Prism into the adapter and lock it to the screws The prism protrudes a few mm into the ground glass well of the camera, thus locking everything in place against shearing forces.
