Mae Jemison Lithophane
Description
Dr. Mae Jemison was the first black woman to go to space during a 1992 mission. She conducted experiments as a Science Mission Specialist, and she began her comms on each shift by saying, "Hailing frequencies open" in a nod to Lt. Uhura of the USS Enterprise.
