Zyltech Gear Parts Cooling Duct
Description
The Zyltech Gear is a fantastic printer for the price point, but like anything needs a few small tweaks to be perfect. The dual parts cooling fans don't come with any ducting, and the Volcano heat block doesn't come with a sock. This allows air to cool the block and was giving a 6 degree temperature swing in either direction, which was noticeable in the print. With just the duct, no sock, and a PID tune, it's now getting a ~1 degree total temperature change while printing. Printed in Zyltech PETG, no supports with the inlet (fan side) on the build surface. Sized for m3 hardware to thread into, but wouldn't hurt to throw a nut over the end.
