Anycubic Photon IP Camera Mod with internal Power Supply
Description
I wanted to have a ip camera in my Anycubic Photon. So i bought the mini cam on amazon. This connects to your wifi and you can access your camera from you smarthpone. Mini Cam: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07XNTFRB9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The camera can run 3h from its batterie. But i wanted to have a power supply from the printer itself. When i turn on my printer, i want my camera to turn on. So i already got rid of this annoying unnecessary fan in the inside and i thought, that i could use the power from the fan. The problem was, the fan did run on 12V, but the camera only needs 5V. I had to build in a DC / DC Buck Converter which turns down the 12 V to 5V (You have to set it on the little screw!). Unfortunately the buck converters on amazon only come in 10 pcs. Buck Converter: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B077VW4BTY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 So i connected the buck converter intake, to the old fan power supply, adjusted my output voltage to 5V and installed a 90° usb cable to the outlet of the converter. Cable: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B009JHJ7G8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Now i needed a magnetic holder for the camera. Which i modeled in Solid Edge. The mini cam is pretty heavy so the mount has 4x 3 Magnets in it to make it strong enough and there we go. Magnets: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07QXWMTCW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I have a ip camera in my photon with a internal power supply. There is one thing that now needs to be done, the fan cover needs a hole for the cable :-)
