Bruce Yeany's Centrifuge demo toy

Bruce Yeany's Centrifuge demo toy

Description

This is a pretty simple puzzle. You will need to print the body, add 2 balls or marbles into the two cavities, and put a piece of transparent plastic overtop. For a more detailed description and solutions, check out this video: https://youtu.be/QKRQ2fAi_bQ The idea and design for this thing come from Brucy Yeany, you can find his Youtube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/user/YeanyScience And his video on this toy in particular here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-eG_hnV91IA I recommend printing this thing upside-down on the build plate. If you have decent part cooling fan you won't need any support. There is some sacrificial bridging in the screw holes, so drill that out before inserting the nuts. For the top you can use polystyrene, polycarbonate or acrylic, or some other transparent plastic. Print should take about 9-10 hours and take 90-100g of filament. Requires 2 M4 nuts and M4x10 screws.
