Tevo Black Widow Filament Sensor Support
Description
Support to mount a filament sensor on the direct drive extruder. I use OctoPrint on my control box. The sensor has to be mounted on the raspberry Pi GPIO in order to work correctly. You will also need to install the filament sensor plugin. If you are only using the ramp board to print from an SD Card then you will have to find a free I0 pin onto the ramp board and then update the firmware to have this option configure and enable. Note: If the sensor is connected to the raps board and you print from a computer or OctoPrint the sensor will not function, since there is no way to let the hosting computer know that the filament as run out. The sensor found on Ebay UpDate 28-03-2020 The V2 version is 10 mm taller to let some material before the filament reaches the end the drive gear witch prevents blockage in the extruder assembly.
