Monoprice Select Mini V2 Hotend mount 40mm fan and adjustable radial cooling fan
Description
My stock hotend cooling fan started making a lot of noise and I was wanting an adjustable height/removable part cooling fan so I created this. The adjustable height is probably overkill and adds weight. Main parts printed in ABS for heat resistance and mounting pins printed in TPE. TPE is hard to print with the Mini Select but after a while feeding filament to the extruder, lots of glue stick, and SLOW speeds, I finally got some usable ones. Inspired by: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2722203 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2745732 I purchased these fans: Noctua NF-A4x20 FLX https://noctua.at/en/nf-a4x20-flx https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072JK9GX6 5015 (50x15mm radial fan) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07R4TGMK3 Notes: The 3D model of the 40mm fan in Fusion 360 is the Noctua NF-A4x10 FLX but the pins are designed for the 20mm deep version. The numbers on the dial no longer correspond to anything since there is no slope hitting a switch 90 degrees from the part. I just used the dial as is.
