Hakko FX-888D magnetic tips holder
Description
This magnetic tips holder for the soldering station [Hakko FX-888D](https://www.hakko.com/english/products/hakko_fx888d.html) was inspired by [amcanhazdeath's](https://www.thingiverse.com/amcanhazdeath/about) [*Hakko Tip Holder*](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2702809). The Hakko FX-888 was elected as Japan Design Selection 2009 according to [Hakko's official website](http://www.hakko.com/english/news/090330.html). Here is my attempt to make this soldering station more practical keeping the "spirit" of the original design. To complete this build you will need [5 disc magnets of diameter 8 mm and height 4 mm](https://www.supermagnete.de/eng/disc-magnets-neodymium/disc-magnet-8mm-4mm_S-08-04-N). The magnets need to be glued on the back of the holder. There is a clip that is used to lock the tips holder in place. The attached photographs should illustrate the assembly process.
