Angled Extruder Motor Bracket for Creality Ender 3
Description
I designed this bracket to slightly relocate the extruder motor while rotating it to a 15° angle. This allows the filament to follow a more natural curve into the extruder feed frame. The motor does not interfere with the printable area. There is a slot on the backside of the bracket to keep the extruder wires in place. I also designed a filament guide to accompany this bracket which helps keep the filament away from the Z-axis rod. The filament guide is optional. The motor will mount to the bracket with the original screws. To attach the bracket, you will need four #6-32 x 3/4" bolts and four #6-32 nuts. Or similar. I got a bag of 8 bolts and 8 nuts at Home Depot for less than $1.50. Once you add this bracket, you may want to shorten the bowden tube to prevent it from rubbing against the power supply.
