FrSky RXSR - Mount & Antennae Protector
Description
*** Update: 11/03/2020 Added v3. Small adjustments to mounting hole positions and added a cutout for the bolt head so as to not pinch the Rx. Added a 3rd bolt / Zip-tie hole for stability and versatility. Moved zip-tie securing holes, and added an extra pair. Increased the size of the connector cut-out for ease of plugging in /disconnecting. ***Update: 06/03/2020 I've added v2 of the mount, which does away with the need for zip-ties on the antennae arms as well as for mounting it to the frame. Instead I have added m3 mounting holes which are slightly elongated to fit a wider range of frames and to minimize my margin of error :) Only one zip-tie is required to hold the receiver into the mount. Protective mount for the FrSky R-XSR and it's 2 antennae. Needed a better solution than just zip tying the antennae to the arms / heat shrink etc. Used 1x small zip-ties to secure the RX into the mount, and 2x zip-ties to mount it to the frame. Used 3x small zipties per arm to secure the antennae into the channel in the arms for added safety. Can be mounted at the bottom of your stack in front of the rear arms, or preferably out the back end where there's a bit more space. Suggest you plug the RX in before zip tying it down, as it would be difficult to do after the fact. Printed and tested on a TBS Source One V3 Frame. mounting holes line up almost perfectly with the frame in the rear. Printed in TPU so its flexible, wont break your props while protecting your antennae from getting shredded, and should hold up in any nasty crashes. ***Will be posting a V2 with the frame mounting holes changed from zipties to nuts & bolts and possible an updated arm design to negate the need for zipties at all.
