Poop Stick / Catcher

Description

For a while I was using the GoGo Stik poop stick for my dog, and loved it. It's very convenient...you can use it to scoop up poop, OR you can use it to catch the poop as it falls from your dog before it even catches the ground. I found that catching the poop in that manner is MUCH easier than using the stick to scoop the poop, or getting down and picking it up the old fashioned way. It's also perfect for dogs with loose stool or diarrhea...in fact, I think it's the only effective way to pick up after a dog with loose stool. One day I forgot my GoGo Stik at the dog park and didn't have time to go get it....so I made this new custom one. I've come to prefer this one as it fits more easily in my cargo pockets, and is collapsible by way of removing the handle. This is definitely still a work in progress, I've been fine tuning the design every so often, and haven't really cleaned it up to look pretty yet. Instructions: I've never tried using regular poop bags, so as far as I know only handled poop bags will work. Grocery bags or any other bags with handles should work as well. Loop the handles in the long parts sticking out of the back, wrap the opening of the bag around the rest of the device, push down from inside of the bag, and you're ready to go. Print as many handles as you'd like to make it as long as you'd like. Occasionally the bag will slide off of the edges...just simply pull it back around the edges and pull the handles as tight as you can. After you've caught the poop, you can either set the device on the ground or put the pole part in between your legs. Grab the handles only, remove them, pull the entire bag through and then tie it. Voila, you just picked up after your dog without having to bend over!
