Mounting Plate for Aeotec WallMote (Quad)
Description
After having bought the quite beautiful Z-Wave switch WallMote Quad, I could not really decide where to mount it with the only one included (quite neutral) mounting plate. So I measured and modeled it, to be customized as desired. I included both the neural version, and my custom ones as an example. Some weeks ago I had ordered 200pcs of 5x1mm magnets, which are not as strong as the original ones but are suitable (not only for this job) quite fine. In case one wants to use rectangular magnets: the raw size of the hole in blender is about 10.37mm x 5.57mm x 1.2mm - but I would always recommend measuring after print. In my case, the 1.0mm magnets did fit perfectly due to used support ceiling, making post-processing not necessary. But it prints also well without support. As a big fan of Lilo & Stitch, my version has gotten an appropriate decoration. I will probably also print another blue version soon (which seems to be more correct). P.S.: At that point I want to say thank you to the creators of following things, which were (in part) used for that purpose: - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3178070 (Stitch Bookmark, by: Calimancil) - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3567160 (Stitch's Great Escape Sign, by: Potterrd0) - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1544727 (Stitch by marianagarciacorral) I would not really see the mounting plate to be a remix of those, but they did ease creating my customized version with the silhouette and font. P.P.S.: I do not own copyright for the used items; as the decorated plate should be seen as an example, I belive this should be okay.
