MG36 Handguard Underside RIS mount
Description
UPDATE2: I've redesigned this a little. 1. I've cleaned up the holes so they're properly constructed using circles and not rectangles. 2. There are now two versions of the file - the one named "Ender3" is made to fit the Ender3 and Ender3Pro build plate (you have to angle it so it lays from one corner to another on the buildplate) 3. It now properly matches the picatinny rail design: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/95/Picatinny.svg 4. I've changed it so that it uses allen screws, 12mm long - the hole itself is 3mm in diameter down and 8.5mm in diameter up. UPDATE: It seems like the RIS rail wasn't exactly "Picatinny-sized". It's dimensions are slightly off and I'm now planning to rework it so it exactly matches picatinny design sheet's dimensions + I'm making the rail slightly longer so that angled foregrips can be mounted near the mag socket. I've been looking everywhere for a replacement to the bipod that's attached to MG36 by default but it's nowhere to be seen, guess noone produces those things as the underside doesn't have any standarized mount holes. Then I've found YasiekPL's short RIS rail and modified it a little so that it covers 7 out of 8 holes (last hole is empty so it doesn't conflict with the handguard's curvature) Use your own screws/nuts to tighten the rail. Holes should support M5 screws.
