Tetra Whisper 40 Filter Bio-Media Caddy
Description
I was not satisfied with the stock cartridge setup of the Tetra Whisper 40 aquarium filter, so I created a bio-media basket that can be easily configured. Fill the front with your favorite bio-media (ceramic rings, Matrix, bio-balls, sponge), and fill the back with your preferred mechanical filter (sponge, floss, etc.). Once full, just pop into your filter housing. I like to use a pre-filter sponge on the intake tube, then put inexpensive floss batting in the back compartment, and bio-rings in the front.
