ADKS - Ender 3 Rear Case v2
Description
**Update - 17 Mar 2020** Added the side stop piece for mounting on Standard Ender 3 Added an explicative picture showing the different installation on Ender 3 Pro and Standard. In the case of Standard Ender 3, there will be a 10mm gap between the case and the Y-axis profile. This is due to the presence of the Y motor mount plate and screws. To avoid this gap the height of the case should be reduced, but this would be opposite to this design's main target (more internal space, better airflow, cable management, etc.). My suggestion is to rotate the Y motor 90 degrees for a better installation and moving of the case. Both the Y and Z motors should be rotated in the case of Ender 3 Standard (please refer to the position of the motors connectors, as indicated in the attached pictures) **A few more words** If possible, please consider supporting me with a tip. I really love designing and 3D printing, this last which I practice as a hobby, and I am incredibly happy to see how some of my projects are particularly popular on these online platforms. My designs will never be for sale, I believe in sharing and will never ask for a mandatory fee to download them. Due to Covid-19 pandemic, I'm having a hard time with my job, therefore I'm not able to spend as much time as I would like with you guys, in sharing and commenting new designs. I hope to soon have the serenity to get back to being active on this and other platforms to update projects with new and interesting ideas. Until then, Thank You Paypal.me link: https://paypal.me/adarkstudio Thank you page: https://pastebin.com/raw/gTt8iE5a Regards Nio - - - - This is the new (improved) version of the motherboard rear case previously released at this link. Main characteristics: New design compatible with both 4010 and 4020 fans Taller case Internal fan mount Fan installation w/o screws Improved cooling airflow Improved cable management Additional side stop piece (optional) for which it is not required to remove the Y motor during the installation phase. A mirrored version of this case to accommodate other electronics is underway (to be placed in the empty space under the PSU), so stay tuned! Enjoy. Let's create stuff! Cheers Nio
