MPCNC 52mm 500w Spindle Motor Dust Boot with Light
Description
This is a remix of the MPCNC Banggood 500w Brushless Spindle Adjustable Dust Shoe (Mr_Dabrudda) which is also a remix of the original Makita Dust Shoe Mount (WidgetWiz) Parts List (Sorry for the mix of Metrix and SAE because I just used whatever I had avalible) (4) Screws - #6-32 - 1" (2) Screws - #6-32 - 1.25" (2) Nuts - #6-32 (2) Nuts - M4 (8) Washers - SAE #6 or M4 (1) 3/16 in. x 36 in. Zinc-Plated Round Rod (Two 10” Rods) (6) neodymium disc magnets - .315" Dia x .118" thick (8mm x 3mm) (1) M8-1.25 x 50 mm or 5/16" x 2" long bolt (1) Shop-Vac 9051200 1.25-Inch by 8-Foot Hose (1) White 70MM 60SMD COB LED Headlight Angel Eyes Here is an explanation of what I remixed from what Mr_Dabrudda created: BottomMount v2.stl – Added more material around the nut where you clamp down the spindle motor because the original hex was too big for a M4 nut. DustShoeBase_v3.stl – Covered up the 4 screw holes on the bottom where DustShoeCone connect to, so now you only need to glue the two together. DustShoeCone_v2.stl – Filled in the 4 screw holes where you connect it to the DustShoeBase, so now you only need to glue the two together. DustShoeRingLightWireHole.stl – Added an 3mm hole where the wires for the ring light (White 70MM 60SMD COB LED Headlight Angel Eyes) to exit from the DustShoe. To fit the ring light inside, I used the existing double side tape and I also added glue all around the side of the light that rest against the DustShoe. TopMountAirDucts_v3.stl – Added a few vent holes on the mount so the fan from the motor will circulate the air better. With out the holes the air seems to deflect away from the body of the motor because the mount is so thick. Also added more material around the nut where you clamp down the spindle motor because the original hex was too big for a M4 nut.
