Prusa Protective Face Shield - RC2 - A4&Letter OH Paper Remix

Prusa Protective Face Shield - RC2 - A4&Letter OH Paper Remix

Description

UPDATE 2020-03-24: Added alot of new version for different hole punch standards. UPDATE 2020-03-21 2: Added two new version for speed printing. Sometimes it's more important to produce fast then comfort. So made 2 optional versions (one open, and one sealed) for saving material and printing faster. Also added the bottom that now should be able to be punched out with the same tool set to A4. UPDATE 2020-03-21: Had some concerns from a facebook group about droplets being able to enter behind the shield from top of mask. So made a sealed version. Also if you put double sided foam tape under the knobs that holds the shield you get a better grip and seal from droplets. Shouldn't add that much print time or assembly time. This is basically a Remix of the RC2 version that makes it possible to use an A4 sheet och transparent plastic as those are widely avaible. Use a normal Paper Hole Punching tool set til A6 from each of the long sides on a regular A4 or on the short side on a A3 (thanks Per Mejdal Rasmussen for the A3 idea) transparent sheet. DISCLAIMER! This product is a work in progress and I take NO responsible for the use of this design in real world usage. Also take in consideration that when used with an A4 sheet the length of the protection vertically will be reduced, this might have an impact on the functionality compared to the original design. Consider using A3 instead for better protection. Always consult with professional medical staff before using this. Make sure to read ALL documentation/information Josef Prusa and his team at Prusa Research has published on the original make before using this design. Original design by Prusa Research can be found here: https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/25857-prusa-protective-face-shield-rc2 EDIT: As Per Mejdal Rasmussen commented: "If vertical protection is a concern, then use A3 paper." That's just brilliant. Then you'll be able to cover the face more than on the original. And just cut it to length if to large. The punch holes will simply then be on the short side of the sheet.
