Wanhao D6 Slider Block Upgrade

Description

# Wanhao D6 Slider Block ## Overview I was sick of trying to level / tram my gantry on my Wanhao D6, so I designed these new slider blocks. It uses the existing metal belt bracket to secure the belt but gets rid of the two pieces that make up the block. The single block is much easier to keep things aligned because there is no vertical play in the gantry rods now. I'm using this in conjunction with @skuibreaker [gantry block](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2193477) The Wanhao D6 gantry system is a massive pain to disassemble. Basically the whole linear system has to come out to replace these blocks. If your printer is working fine, I would recommend not installing these new blocks. I've actually drilled holes in the back and the side to more easily remove the 8 mm rods to make it easier to disassemble, but this is not required. To install these, replace your old blocks with the new ones and keep all the hex screws since they will all be reused. These are a direct replacement so pay attention to how the originals are oriented. Reuse the belt bracket the same way the old blocks did. Use the screws that attached the two bodies of the old slider blocks to secure the gantry rods. There are two pairs of holes to do this on the bottom and top of the block. These pairs are to make it easier to secure. You do not need to use both, just whichever pair is easiest for you to use. The tolerances are tight by design so that there is less play in the system. Depending on your printer, you may need to file or drill out the holes slightly. I used a thread tap to make the screw holes threaded nicely but depending on the material you use, you may just be able to screw them in directly. I've included the Fusion 360 file in case you need to make modifications to the original design.
