This work is inspired by Prusa Research's face shield design. https://blog.prusaprinters.org/from-design-to-mass-3d-printing-of-medical-shields-in-three-days/ In a hospital, face shields and most of the other Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) are disposable. Clean and sterilize them are more expensive and time-consuming. This design modified Prusa's face shield and make it a single-use disposable device. 1. The printing time is 1 hour. ( half of Prusa RC2) 2. Material saving 19g ( almost half of the original Prusa RC2) 3. Total height is 10mm ( half of Prusa RC2 ) 4. It is compactable to Prusa's face shield. If you have their shield, you can plug it in. This design is made for using in hospitals. If you want to reuse your face shield. Prusa's design is a better choice. Their hand band is wider and more comfortable to wear. We are working on donating 650 masks to our local hospital. In the future, we might consider selling this face shield on our shop (https://precision-3dprinting.myshopify.com/).
