CR10 S5 Cam Mount SingleArm Simple M4 Screw
Description
Simple Quick'n'Dirty Single Arm for timelapse with constant position of printed object (imho every other moving printobject and "nervous" timelapse is waste of time). Camera mounted with a Simple M4 Screw for first shot (Drilled a hole in Camera). Used Components: Octopi (Multi Instance 4 Printers), Creative Live HD Autofocus 720p Webcams. Additional hint: too many webcams & 3D Printers connected to Raspberry Pi result in randomly loosing USB Connection to printer (dangerous and expensive if prints abort)!!!! Reason: supply Overload Solution: use 2, 3 or 4 IDENTICAL usb Supplies in parallel, therefore the last 2 pics. I recommend to combine the single cables just short before the microUSB plug to have as much copper as possible to transport the electrons with smalles possible resistance and loss. But even with identical Supplies the interference voltage addition (ac and dc) results in croppy picture (white lines horizontally and maybe even vertically) ONLY IF using old Webcams and is also influenced by shielding elements of USB cable, e.g. Magnets, Inductors. We expierenced that behaviour with very old STV0680 chips (used by additionally installed motion on octopi for surveillance). NOT WITH Creative HD so i assume that every octopi (mjpg-streamer) compatible Webcam should be immune to picture influences caused by interference voltage.
