Catrike Dumont Mirror Adapter for Frame 22mm Dia

Note: This Will Not Work With Catrike Fenders. (New Version Coming That Will) I wasn’t happy with the original rearview mirror that came on my Catrike Dumont. The original was mounted to the steering arm and no matter how hard I tried; I could not get the mirror adjusted to my liking. The focus point changes with the slights of steering input. If you follow my prints, there is an earlier fix that I came up with that works with all of the original components for the rearview mirror. Making it possible to mount the mirror from the frame so once you have the mirror adjust for the perfect view it stays that way no matter what the steering input is. Once I had this figured out, I wanted to add a second mirror on the right side. Total cost to do this was $25 for the new frame mount system. There was an issue. The ORIGIN8 Lite Bar Set I ordered is designed for a 22mm bar diameter. My original adapter is designed for the original from Catrike that measures 25.4mm diameter. I opted to redesign so it will work for this bar set of 22mm. These are the items I ordered from Amazon for my right hand side mirror setup. Adapter Install Installation is easy. The adapter slides over the Head Tube and is secured using two M4 – 15mm screws. The screws will self-tap into the PETG and hold very well. No nuts needed.
