Small printer protective face shield
Description
Since prusa's model is too big for my delta's bed I made a 3-parts design, in order to create a head support for the transparent plastic. Pieces are kept together by screws (used M3x10 on my design) and there are front holes for two screws to hold the plastic protector. On the edges I made small inserts to place plastic's edge and help keeping protector on place and shape. Adjustment to head can be made with a rubber band from another two screws (again M3) or by using the provided holes made for using less PLA (don´t worry, with regular filament is rather sturdy and not too material-hungry) Side pieces needs about 6 metres each and the bridge around 2.5, with less than 15M (<10 on the slim variation) you can get an effective support for the transparent shield if you don't mind some assembly ^_^ Combined some ways to be flexible on mount process but if you think about any modification, any feedback is welcome. There are four versions: - protection_3p.stl --> Regular version 100mm wide bridge - protection_b.stl --> Extended 118mm wide bridge - protection_slim.stl --> Regular version low height (6mm) <10M total filament - protectio_b_slim.stl --> Extended wide and low height ----> 03/04 Update: Added individual files for each part in case your slicer cant separate them
