Latrax Rally 1/16 Shock Tower Crossmember
Description
A replacement piece for the Latrax 1/16 Rally R/C vehicle. This is a lowered shock tower cross-member. This piece allows for full extension of the stock shocks. The center of gravity is raised by performing this mod, however, the car gains much more travel in the shocks, aiding in reducing the abuse it takes while jumping. I was a bit disappointed by the stock piece, as the wheels would travel up above the bottom of the chassis pan. That's wasted shock travel. This piece allows for full extension of the shocks. Probably worse for drifting, since the CoG is higher, but it makes jumps more fun. Note: If the most distal mount point makes the shocks too "pogo-stick-ish", mount the shock tops closer to the midline. Enjoy!
