Lasercut Octagon Wall Art

Inspired by the 100 hex project by tecnoloxia https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2477471 I wanted to try my own hand at creating a number of octagonal designs to decorate walls, coffee tables, etc. I moved to my preferred tool, the laser cutter and decided to use octagons, as they allowed me to use the intervening squares/diamonds to test new ideas. Science, nature, music, travel, geometry and math are incorporated in these designs. Unless otherwise stated, blue lines are cut lines and red are etch lines. Occasionally, burn and cut patterns are separated in multiple files as I experienced some issues running them in a single file. Each octagon is 15cm by 15cm. Some octagons have not had the opportunity to be cut yet and I have labelled them as untested. I will be adding to these designs every couple of days. Enjoy!
