Exhalation Valve

Description

**Exhalation valve for DIY respirator or mask.** It helps keeping your mask free from the moisture that you exhale while breathing, hence extending the time your mask will be able to properly filter out particles. It is designed to work using a makeshift membrane, such as a circular piece of a nitrile or latex hand glove. **This kind of mask should only be used when no safer option is available.** Object list: 1: valve body 2: valve cap with lateral holes (don't place them directing the air towards your glasses to prevent fogging) 3: valve cap with frontal holes 4: set 1+2 5: set 1+3 6: template to draw and cut a hole 32 mm in the mask 7: "negative" folding clamp-like template to draw and cut one membrane 8: "positive" folding clamp-like templete to cut one membrane **PLEASE BEAR IN MIND** that wearing a mask with an exhalation valve will not prevent you to infect others. <u>Wear such a mask only to protect yourself if you belong to a risk group or work as a healthcare worker, but **never** if you suspect that you are already infected.</u> **Válvula de exhalación para mascarilla improvisada.** Ayuda a mantener la mascarilla libre de la humedad exhalada durante la respiración, extendiendo de esta manera su vida útil.
